48V DC – 480W Electronic Power Supply for Hot-Wire Cutting

Professional electronic power supply designed for hot-wire cutting hand tools and CNC machines, suitable for precise cutting of polystyrene (EPS) and technical foams.

The unit delivers an adjustable DC output voltage via a front potentiometer, allowing accurate temperature control of the cutting wire and preventing unwanted wire vibration, resulting in clean and stable cuts.

Usable wire length depends on wire diameter and material composition, with an operational range from 15 to 200 cm, respecting safety limits.

This is a new improved version, featuring a front digital display, short-circuit protection, rear 230V connection with fused switch, and an IEC 60320 C14 connector, ensuring high reliability and safety for professional environments.

⚠️ Important: do not use wire lengths below 15 cm, as this may cause a short circuit.
